 November 28, 2007 -- with the purpose of creating an independent radio station, -- free from political holds and biases-- Radyo Natin Sorsogon has been re- established in partnership with the Manila Broadcasting Company. The radio station makes use of an AM-FM format, thus bringing not only entertainment but also information to the public. Headed by three of the most respected and well- acclaimed radio commentators/ broadcasters in the province, — Robert “Bobby” Labalan; Ramil “Doods” Marianito and Gaspar “Jun” Galias-- Radyo Natin aims mainly to bring to the public what needs to be known and understood ; revealing even the most critical issues concerning every member of the society. Radyo Natin also aims to train fresh and young blood of journalists, who would continue to give voice to every group in the society, striving for impartial treatment of issues, thus serving the general welfare of the people where the purpose of broadcast media is highly rooted. Such goal is for the fire of honest and reliable broadcasting to continue to flare up amidst frequent threats to the life of journalists, here and in the entire country. Creating future broadcast journalists with genuine heart foe service would simply be the living legacy that Radyo Natin looks forward to.
